(Currently USA only. Looking into international options, but shipping is a trainwreck right now and I can’t lose a ton of money on this, so not yet available)
This initial listing will be for a pre-order from the initial batch of prints of this magazine. (I will change the listing once it’s direct ship.) Since I am getting this printed professionally, I have to order in a quantity of at least 100 before getting them printed, so I’m collecting initial pre-orders to help cover the bulk order cost up front.
I am getting this ordered even if I do not hit 100 pre-orders! I’m simply trying to take less of an up-front hit to get the order through. I plan on submitting the order by end of June at the latest.
Magazines are cool, okay? And too many of them went away. Now that we’re all flocking away from the internet and to find more real, human connections with our hobbies and passions it’s time to get back into the physical realm.
JAMPACK’d Features:

Dive into the toxic culture wars nonsense permeating gaming coverage on social media
Try to sell you anything.
This is purely an independent, human-made (no AI) project made for the love of games. Diverse, independent games reporting is crucial to maintaining a thriving landscape and balanced coverage.

Issue #1 features writing by me (Adam / EposVox / lostsaves) as well as contributions by Will (Backing Track) and BBK Dragoon.
Batch 2 pre-orders have officially begun! I’m taking pre-orders in batches to help cover the upfront cost of printing, and have extra copies baked into each batch. Batch 2 will run until July 30 and ship mid-august.
WITH BATCH 2, INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING IS NOW AVAILABLE!
If you are buying from outside of the US, please keep in mind the expensive shipping cost (upwards of $20 USD) due to current shipping expenses. Please consider ordering from one of the following international retailers to possibly save on shipping:
Batch 1 Magazines have been packed by the printer and shipped to me! I’m hoping to get them by end of week. Slight delay but I should be shipping to you all early next week!
MAGAZINES HAVE STARTED SHIPPING TODAY
EVERYONE GETS EXTRA GOODIES JAM PACKED IN THERE FOR AS LONG AS I FEEL LIKE PRINTING AND FOLDING THE EXTRAS
I accidentally shipped a few first class instead of media mail and thus they don’t have tracking, sorry. It’ll get to ya tho
Excited to report mine has arrived! Disappointed to say the mail carriers did not respect the package all too much, and they Jampacked the Jampack’d into my mail box. Fortunately I have a very heft art book sitting around and was able to flatten it out, very excited to flip through it!
I have big plans for the future of the magazine and moves I wanna make, so I want to hear EVERYTHING. What you liked, didn’t like. What you’d like to see more of, less of, etc. etc.
Just got done reading like 80% of it and I LOVE IT (I wanna save some for later lol). First off the packaging had drawings on the back of it I’m assume from your kid, first of adorable I love it. I’m gonna keep that packaging, it really drives home the human-made aspect of this magazine. Everything from the small highlights of indie titles/demos to the upcoming games and irl events was very much appreciated as well.
My one compliant is the font I guess or the printing of the words on the Wii zapper segment for Zelda pg.45-47 as well on pg. 42 for Kaze and the wild masks + Garlic, it looks like old 2000’s 3d glasses effect with blue red and black for the print. If it was a bad print it is what it is, but if it was intentional I like the idea but It made it a little hard to focus and read for me. Other than that I enjoined the content of this magazine great work.
Another thing I’d like to ask would you be willing to have a fan submitted game review spotlight? Like you have us submit a full or mini game review for a game we just finished or really enjoy and you pick what you’d like to highlight maybe? Only reason why I ask is that I’m nearing the end of my persona 3 reload play through and I still have the DLC to play through, but I plan on writing my personal thoughts about the game in a new personal Game review journal since it has had such a huge impact on me personally. I thought about this while reading if you’d be willing to spotlight a fan review. I’m not the greatest writer but I’m sure others in this community might be able to contribute. You don’t have to do this, but just thought it would make an interesting few pages highlighting what the community at “large” might be playing and enjoying.
Other than that it was a wonderful read for getting some new games, I’ll be for sure checking out Parking garage Rally Circuit, Hark The Ghoul, and Lady Dracula. I look forward to what you have in store for next issue.
Not intentional
Going with a budget printer has its downsides. 30-50% have a good 25-50% of the pages with misaligned prints. Not ideal, but it’s something I want to not have happen with future issues as I’m making my plans for… a big announcement for that soon-ish.
I would like to, but there is an element of quality and filtering to consider and I still often get a bunch of emails about calls for submissions for things from years ago, so we’ll see. I’m open to it! Especially if it means wider coverage.
Other than that I’m so glad you’re loving it!!! I’m so happy.
I’ve also been working my ass off all day trying to finish getting batch 1 out the door. Almost done.
It’s all good then you’ll figure that stuff out. just Thought I’d bring it up just in case. Either way I was still able to read it just with a little added difficulty lol.
And that’s fair it would be a lot of work. If you do ever open them up I’ll be sure to submit my review and recommendation of persona 3 reload for consideration.
Holy cow that’s a lot of magazines, I should say congrats on the release of the First Issue of JAM PACK’d. I hope this is the beginning of something awesome. Keep up the amazing work Epos.
I’ve been meaning to post in here - my copies came in and HOLY SHIT! The quality of the magazine is incredible @EposVox! The art is incredible throughout, the articles are thoughtful and well written, the quality of the print material is great, it’s just an awesome item all around and it hammers home how cool having a tangible item in your hands is!
It came in on a particularly rough day and immediately made my day better, my wife and I started geeking out looking at the magazine for like an hour. I’m an adult in my 30s and I was excited to show my parents the magazine and say “I KNOW THE PERSON THAT MADE THIS ONLINEI” because its just so surreal that an item this cool didn’t come from an entire team/company. That kind of excitement had me feeling like a kid again lol. I can’t wait until the October issue, for sure preordering the first day its available!
