These fake microphones seem like some sort of weird factory repro of some EXPENSIVE legendary Neumann mics (knockoffs of the Neumann TLM-103 and U87 Ai) but they are nothing close. Still, they surprised me.
TBH, with a nice and warm tube compressor to soften the high end, these mics would be easy to recommend. I really wish they were from a reputable brand with a real warranty and customer support though.
I had considered running them through my analog amp but didn’t wanna futz with the setup, just wanted them out of here.
But yeah the original listings I bought these from are long gone, you’re basically just buying ewaste
