Last weekend I’ve watched “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty“ for the first time and I thought it was a wonderful movie. It really made me think about life and living it to the fullest.
Now I wanted to hear from you guys if anyone has another recommendation for a movie that really makes you think. Or just any other good movie would do, but I like being awed by a movie when the credits are rolling.
I got a few on varying scales of the emotional wheel.
Bully (2001), based on a true story, its one of the few movies I’ve watched where I think by the end I was kinda numb just staring at the credits as it rolled. The only other one I can think of was Fruitvale Station (also based on a true story). Its like an anxiety attack constantly bubbling to where when the climax happens, you’re oddly relieved. It’s a really weird movie but one that always sticks out.
Rye Lane - They don’t make silly love stories like this anymore. I can’t help but smile the whole way through.
On the Count of Three - If you do watch this I beg you go in as blind as possible. I do this thing where I scroll through and will only click a title based on its poster alone ignoring the name and poster and was moved by this movie.
Go - Imagine if Pulp Fiction was about a bunch of college kids trying to go to the same party.
