Millenial TV Reboots

Has anyone watched the new episodes of Malcolm in the Middle on Hulu? My wife and I watched all 4 episodes last night and I’ve had a warm fuzzy feeling ever since. I remember watching live when the original series premiered and when the series ended. It’s always been a comfort show for me and it gets even funnier the older I get (I can relate to Hal and Lois in the OG show way more now.) I know a lot of folks hate reboots/remakes but this felt like such a well done reboot. The whole cast slid right back into their roles seamlessly and the new characters felt like they would fit into the original show perfectly. Fingers crossed it gets enough viewers to get renewed for additional episodes!

I’ve also heard great things about the Scrubs reboot so I’m really excited to finally watch the entirety of the original show with my wife before starting the reboot.

There are so many shows I grew up loving that I would enjoy having more episodes of, I’m one of those people that is always happy to get more time with the characters and stories I’ve grown fond of, even when the story already has a nice spot to end on (Ted Lasso for example.)

Just finished Malcolm in the Middle last night, it was fantastic and felt like it got better each episode. Most of the remakes/reboots/continuations haven’t done it for me, but that was a perfect fit.

They said it got over 8.3 million views as of yesterday, I’m pretty confident it will additional episodes!
