> **[Apple Discontinues the Mac Pro](https://www.macstories.net/linked/apple-discontinues-the-mac-pro/)** > > In a move that should suprise no one, Apple discontinued the Mac Pro today. From Chance Miller at 9to5 Mac: It’s the end of an era: Apple has confirmed to 9to5Mac that the Mac Pro is being discontinued. It has been removed from Apple’s website as of... I’m very interested to see how this goes over in the music world and etc. Expansion cards are a must in some lines of work, and even in my humble setup (with no actual PCIe devices added) I’ve seen the limits of getting devices to register maxing out Thunderbolt ports and such on my Mac Studio. ---

It’s glorious! I have one I really need to restore, but I am not quite sure what I would _do with it._
